IT consulting and technical advisory

A senior second opinion when something is slow, expensive, risky or stuck. We look at the real system, tell you what we see, and help you decide what to do next.

Overview

Some of the most valuable technology work is not building anything. It is making a good decision: whether to keep or replace a system, which vendor to trust, how to fix a project that has lost momentum, or what is really behind a stubborn performance problem. Those decisions are expensive to get wrong and hard to make without someone who has seen the pattern before.

NaVasSys provides that experience on demand. We have spent 20 years as enterprise architects and hands-on engineers, so we can read code and infrastructure as well as talk to executives. Our advice is written down in plain language, with options, costs, risks and a clear recommendation.

We are independent. We do not resell software or take commissions from vendors, so our recommendation is based on what fits your business. Where the right answer is a simpler or cheaper option than you expected, that is what we will say.

When businesses call us

  • A project is late, over budget or stuck

We review the state of the work, find the real blockers, and give you a recovery plan with options, including stopping when that is the sensible choice.

  • Something is slow, unreliable or expensive and nobody knows why

We investigate across code, database, infrastructure and process, and explain the root cause in terms your leadership can act on.

  • Build, buy or integrate?

We compare options against your requirements, total cost and team capacity, and help you negotiate from an informed position.

  • We are about to invest in or acquire a technology business

Technical due diligence reviews architecture, code quality, security posture, scalability and team practices, and reports the risks that matter.

  • We have no senior technical leadership

A fractional advisor sets technical direction, reviews proposals from vendors and developers, and mentors your team.

Frequently asked questions

How is advisory different from consulting that builds things?

Advisory is about decisions and direction: reviews, recommendations and plans. We can also build, but you can use us purely as an independent expert with no obligation to buy delivery.

Can you work with our existing vendors?

Yes. We often review or support work being done by others, constructively, with the goal of getting the project to a good outcome.

How quickly can you start?

After a free consultation we scope a short, fixed-length review. Timing depends on our current availability, which we will tell you honestly.

Is the advice confidential?

Yes. We work under a confidentiality agreement and keep your information private.

Have a technical problem worth solving?

Tell us what is going on. We will reply with an honest view on whether and how we can help.
