Dedicated teams and staff augmentation
One contract, one accountable team. We assemble the right mix of managers, engineers and testers for your product, and scale the team up or down as your needs change.
Overview
Many companies reach a point where their product or platform needs more hands than they can hire quickly. The roadmap is bigger than the team, the maintenance backlog keeps growing, or a system has to keep running while new work continues. Recruiting full-time staff takes months and locks in cost whether the workload is heavy or light.
NaVasSys provides dedicated teams to close that gap. A typical engagement might be a five-person team: a project manager, a technical program manager or tech lead, full-stack developers, QA engineers and junior engineers, guided by an experienced architect. Teams can be smaller or larger. We start from the work you need done and shape the roles around it, instead of selling you a fixed package.
You get a single point of accountability. The team works in your tools, repositories and meeting rhythm, or we run delivery end to end and report to you. Either way, delivery management is part of the service, so you are not left coordinating a group of individual contractors.
Why companies choose a dedicated team
Our roadmap is bigger than our team
We add capacity for a product, a platform or a program of work, with the mix of skills it needs, so important work stops waiting for hiring.
Hiring is slow and expensive
A ready team removes recruiting, onboarding of many individuals and the overhead of managing separate contractors or agencies.
We need predictable cost
A team is typically priced per role or per FTE on a monthly basis, so spend is easy to forecast and compare with the cost of hiring.
We need delivery management, not just developers
Project and technical program managers plan, coordinate, track risk and report, so engineers can focus on building.
Our workload comes in waves
Teams can grow for a big release and shrink afterwards, within notice periods agreed in the contract.

Frequently asked questions
How big is a typical team?
There is no fixed size. A common starting point is a small cross-functional team of about five people, such as a project manager, a tech lead, full-stack developers and a QA engineer. We size it to the work and adjust over time.
Can we meet the team before we start?
Yes. We introduce the proposed team and key members before the engagement begins, and agree how they will work with your people.
How is a dedicated team priced?
Typically as a monthly fee based on the roles and number of full-time equivalents. We agree the structure and notice periods in writing before work starts.
What is the difference between staff augmentation and a dedicated team?
Staff augmentation adds individuals to your team under your management. A dedicated team comes with its own delivery management and takes responsibility for results. We offer both and can mix them.
Can the team scale down?
Yes. Notice periods and minimum terms are set in the agreement, so you can reduce the team when the workload falls.
